of documents between organizations in a standard format. It is a paperless way
to send and receive data. EDI replaces human-readable documents with
electronically coded documents.

Generates entry passes for employees and visitors for various periods of time.

Annual Performance Report
Each operational units has to submit the annual progress report which includes the
Import / Export details of Capital Goods and Raw Materials, DTA sales, Investment
details, Employment details. On the bases of these information monitoring reports are
prepared and corresponding Performa I, II & III generated.
Status: The number of applications received for the Year 2006-2007 from SEZ units is
158 and from the EOU units is 5.

Quarterly Performance Report
Each operational units has to submit the quarterly progress report which includes the
inflow / outflow details, DTA sales etc. Amortization report is generated on the bases
of QPR & DTA sales details.
Status: The number of applications received for the Year 2006-2007 from SEZ units is
33 and from the EOU units is 11.

Lease Rent
Each operational unit has to pay the rent for its premises to SEEPZ SEZ as per
allocated area. The lease rent includes the Principal, interest, Service Charges, BMC
charges. The allotment details explores the allocated area and corresponding rent and
outstanding amount.

Customs EDI
This Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system automates Import/Export operations at
SEEPZ-SEZ, Mumbai. Using this system, SEZ units in the zone can electronically file
Import/Export bills from their offices and submit them to the SEEPZ office where the
bills are assessed by the concerned officers. With this system, SEEPZ can easily
monitor critical activities like import and export performed by units. In addition,
several reports in the system give the Customs section an insight into operations in
the zone.
Status: Development is nearing completion. Implementation will commence upon
acceptance of the system by the DC.
