Administrative Internship School District Leader
Minimum 600 Clock hours (must include intensive internship-full time)
EDU822 part 1 & EDU823 part 2
Must be employed in an SDL position during the program

New York State School District Leader Certification Exam
Check on-line for administration schedule & fees
New York State Educating All Students Test ( as of May 1, 2015)
Graduation form submitted to Dean’s office

The School District Leader Alternative allows highly qualified candidates to
serve in district positions requiring the School District Leader Certification.
Candidates must be appointed to the position by the school district while
they are in the program. The candidate is simultaneously in the position
(working under the Trans D certification), enrolled in the Internship and
taking program courses.

registration for course work and program planning.
