business.
• Highlight the importance of being able to convey
ideas, thoughts, and to communicate with others.
• Being able to direct writing to a specific audience.

• Proofreading and proper revision of
documents.
• A business letter and a memo have differing
purposes: memos inform, letters are used to
convince/influence.
