針對羅馬天主教教會的偏差，改教者馬丁
路德（1483-1546）等人特別強調：
1.關於權威：唯獨聖經（sola scriptura）
2. 關於救恩：唯獨恩典（sola gratia）及唯
獨信心（sola fide）
因信稱義（the doctrine of justification by
grace alone through faith alone）：耶穌
基督的義歸算給信靠祂的罪人（imputed
righteousness）。

2. 關於救恩：
稱義與成聖（justification and
sanctification）不同但不可分離。
基督徒可以也應該有得救的確據
（Christian assurance, assurance of
salvation, assurance of faith）。

1628-1688年）生平及著作簡介
重要事件：
1628年出生在一個補鍋匠a brazier or
tinker的家庭
1653年成為貝德福德獨立教會（the
Bedford gathered church, later Bunyan
Meeting）會友

1660-1672年，被監禁了12年
1672年一月，被任命為貝德福德獨
立教會的牧師
1676-1677年間，再次入獄六個月
1688年八月31日因病去世
