Photos © Sherwood Pictures With 50% of all marriages in the United States ending in divorce, it is always good to see attempts made to turn that very ugly number around. I applauded where the filmmakers are coming from and the goal that they have. I hope this film helps married couples to work at their relationship. My heart also goes out to divorced singles, who may find this film painful. Divorce is painful. Relationships are worth our every effort. Writer Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra correctly observed, “The worst reconciliation is better than the best divorce.” Presentation and Review © David Bruce. DIVORCE: A DIRTY WORD POWERFUL THOUGHT: “When two people decide to get a divorce, it isn't a sign that they "don't understand" one another, but a sign that they have, at last, begun to.” --Helen Rowland Presentation and Review © David Bruce. Photos © Sherwood Pictures “I doubt if there is one married person on earth who can be objective about divorce. It is always a threat, admittedly or not, and such a dire threat that it is almost a dirty word.” --Nora Johnson “In every marriage more than a week old, there are grounds for divorce. The trick is to find, and continue to find, grounds for marriage” --Robert Anderson Presentation and Review © David Bruce. Photos © Sherwood Pictures
