Heico Breek
In 2011 Heico Breek was appointed CEO of ACS Biomarker BV, while he continues to hold a similar
position at Cavadis BV. Previously, Heico held senior management positions in both Europe and the
United States at Aventis Pharma as Vice-President Global Marketing. He was General Manager of
Aventis AB in Sweden. After moving to biotech he became Chief Commercial Officer of Tigenix NV, a
Belgian company active in the field of Regenerative Medicine. He then joined Cavadis BV, a
cardiovascular biomarker company. Heico holds a Medical Degree from VU University Amsterdam and
an executive MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
