Coe Lewis Mornings 6-10am Coe Lewis is the longest-tenured female radio personality in San Diego Radio history…and one of the longest running personalities period! She has a long history of working with listeners in need, animals and animal causes. She created the concept of “Coe’s List” – a grass-roots effort to support listeners with job resources, job listings and financial assistance as well as other great causes in San Diego. The former host of Homegrown Hour on KGB, she was at the forefront of breaking local bands and artists that went on to national recognition…i.e. Pearl Jam (Eddie Vedder more specifically), Blink-182 and Jewel. Deeply passionate about the heritage of KGB, she has worked several dayparts on the station, has been the music director, the assistant program director, and continues to work intensely to keep the importance of KGB in radio history and has worked with the station for 20+ years. Coe was selected to host the international broadcast of the Rolling Stones for their 1998 tour and has interviewed everyone from the Rolling Stones, Robert Plant, Bruce Springsteen, Van Halen, AC/DC etc. She was also voted one of the 20 most important personalities in radio in California, being the highest ranked individual female personality on the list. Many listeners consider Coe to be the essence and soul of what KGB stands for. Passion, compassion, and true respect for the legacy of a great radio station and the World Class Rock that is played. You can now listen to Coe in the mornings on the Bob & Coe morning show on the 101.5 KGB FM! Together, Bob and Coe share their love of San Diego and what’s happening here with their audience. "I love my station, and I am in love with my listeners. I have been blessed with a great career that I will never take for granted.
