issued by the Registrar of the Court ECHR 265 (2014) 23.09.2014 Statement by the Registrar Following the recent publication in the Italian press of information concerning the applications lodged by Silvio Berlusconi, the Registrar of the Court wishes to provide the following clarifications. Three applications lodged by Mr Berlusconi are currently pending before the Court: a first (no. 58428/13), registered on 7 October 2013 and concerning, among other issues, the applicability of the “Severino Act”; a second (no. 8683/14), registered on 15 April 2014 and concerning a conviction for tax evasion; and a third (no. 23554/14), registered on 10 April 2014 and concerning the civil proceedings for damages in relation to the “Lodo Mondadori” case. To date, no decision has been made on the admissibility of any of these applications. All three applications have been registered and will be submitted in due course to a judicial formation, which will rule on the admissibility and/or the merits of the applicant’s complaints.
