and communication technology industries; Biotech and Agribusiness
industries supported by R&D community, Biotech Park, IT Park,
professional associations, academic institutes and the Government.
To facilitate Knowledge development and enhancement through
social and technical networking of professionals, specialized forums
and interactions with other world class knowledge economic centres.
To enable self development and performance enhancement of
individual members, through training programs and networking with
fellow knowledge workers.
To facilitate small, medium, family enterprises and institutional
members in synergizing their activities with other professional
associations and providing mentoring services.
To initiate Entrepreneurship and Employable workforce
development programs through Industry-Academia Forum.

Park & SEZ Pvt Ltd.
2. To create an Industry-Academia Forum of Knowledge Based
industries and leading academic Institutes of Lucknow.
3. To initiate Employable Workforce development program through
Finishing School
4. To initiate Entrepreneurship Development Program to promote
knowledge based industries.

Action Plan-1
1. To promote an IT Park and SEZ in Lucknow through Awadh
Technology Park & SEZ Pvt Ltd.  ATPS board to deliberate upon further course of action for IT Park
Project
 Request Principal Secretary IT &E referring to MOM dated 24-510 with the Chief secretary and last meeting at IIDC office on
1110-6-11 for a review of the progress so far. For land allotment
 Try for an audience with person who matters in the new
government.
 Seek help from IT professionals belonging to lucknow , based out
in metros of India and abroad
 A brain storming session of IT companies who are interested for
land at IT Park & seek their views
 Mobilize some more IT companies at ATP. At least


one large IT company from out side UP

2. To create an Industry-Academia Forum of Knowledge
Based industries and leading academic Institutes of
Lucknow.

– To act a Facilitator in skill development & enhancing
Employability
– To Develop Entrepreneurship skills through
Entrepreneurship Development program.

– At least 8-10 Members from Academia
– At least 8- 10 Members of Corporate

3. To initiate Employable Workforce development program
through Finishing School
 Bring Industry & Academia on common Platform
 To sensitize and create awareness through Organizing a series
of seminars on “Managing Transition from Campus to
Corporate – A Journey Ahead”-April-12
 Tie up with some reputed organization to run “Finishing
School” where AKWL will act as facilitator.

4. To initiate Entrepreneurship Development Program to
start knowledge based industries 

Directors Conclave representing Business and Technical
Institutions and apprise them of this challenge
Find nominations and run two pilot groups of 20 students
maximum and over week ends take them into experiential
learning
Invite Entrepreneurs to share their current practices, challenge
during the Startup journey…
Assist in crafting Business Plans with the help f pre defined pool
of mentors
Also assist current family businesses whose heirs are moving
away from the business. Identify issues and take them forward
to developing growth strategies..etc

6. To build sustainable organization and resources
(Financial, Human, and Infra) for AKWL including
membership drive
 Finnace Mobilization Through sponsorship of large Seminars .
 Try for membership of some institution which have good infra
 Referral Drive for membership- Each EC member can refer five
like minded people.
 Plan for at least five Institutional member ship
 Add at least 2-3 young members who are willing to contribute.
 Working group and coordinator to prepare Annual Plan and
initiate Execution

• Monthly review by respective groups
• Quarterly review of each group at EC meeting
• Monthly review of AKWL web site, make it interactive
and measure use by its members/ non members
• Alternate monthly EC Meeting to review all activities and
approve future plans
• Annual review of vision achievement and next years plan
before AGM, by core committee on vision
