This Clinical Cardiovascular Nursing Review & Prep Course was
designed to meet the Professional Development and Board
Certification needs of your Cardiac Nurses and Nurse Practitioners
working in PCU, Telemetry, Emergency Chest Pain Centers,
Cardiovascular Critical Care, Cath Lab, CV Surgery, CV Recovery,
Cardiac Rehab, and Private Practice Cardiology Offices and Clinics.
If your hospital is seeking or needs to maintain Magnet Status, the
Board Certification Exams offered by the American Board of
Cardiovascular Medicine, Inc. are approved by the ANCC for Magnet
applications.
St. John Medical Staff Center Staff Fees: $120 Course Only; $250 for CVRN Level I Exam
All non-St. John Medical Center Staff Fees: $160 Course Only; $295 for CVRN Level I Exam
Day One Course Outline:
7:00-7:55am - Course & Exam Registration
8-9:15am – Bedside Assessment
9:20-10:40am – EKG Essentials
10:50-12:15pm - ACS
12:15-1:15pm – Lunch on your own
1:15-2:15pm – Hypertension
2:20-3:20pm – Heart Failure
3:30-4:30 Cardiomyopathy

Day Two Course and /Exam Outline:
7:30-7:55am - Course & Exam Registration
8-9:30am - Interventional Cardiology
9:45-10:30am – Pacemakers
2:00-5:00pm – CVRN Board Certification Exams
Pre-Registration fee for the Course Only is a must to reserve a seat and course syllabus
and is due by January 20, 2015. Any registrations received after this date will be assessed a
$20 late fee and will be considered a walk-in registrant (if you are late, you must contact us to
assure that we still have a seat available to you).
Payment Methods:

Do not mail your Course Registration fee after January 15th, to assure safe arrival by January
20th. If you miss this deadline to pay your Course Registration fees, please email us of your
intent to attend no later than January 25th, (keeping in mind, you will be considered a walk in
and will have to pay the late fee of $20 extra if you miss this deadline). Send emails to:
