Multiple Sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system. MS damages the tissues surrounding nerves, shortcircuiting the nervous system and interrupts the flow of information from the brain to the body. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to paralysis. Most people with MS are diagnosed between ages 20 and 50. MS affects more than 2.1 million worldwide & over 14,000 locally.
