CORALINE: REACTION PAPER
The movie Coraline is about a girl named Coraline Jones who moves to a new house with her
parents. She feels bored and lonely because her parents are always busy working. One day,
she finds a small door that leads to another world that looks better than her real life. At first,
everything seems perfect, but later she discovers that the other world is actually dangerous.
While watching the movie, I felt curious and a little scared about what will happen to Coraline.
The Other Mother looks kind at first because she gives Coraline attention and everything she
wants. But later Coraline realizes that the Other Mother is not really good and wants her to stay
there forever. The part where Coraline is asked to replace her eyes with buttons was very
creepy for me. It shows that not everything that looks perfect is actually good.I also realized that
Coraline learned to appreciate her real parents. Even if they were busy, they still loved and
cared for her. Coraline became brave and tried to save her parents from the Other Mother.
Coraline is an interesting movie with an important lesson. It teaches us to appreciate our family
and be careful of things that seem too perfect. After watching the movie, I realized that our
family may not be perfect, but their love for us is real.
