1. What do you understand by COVID 19?
It is the virus supposedly originated from China. Its symptoms are quite similar to that of
common cold. It attacks our immune system. As the virus outbroke in 2019, it is named as Covid
19.
2. What is your experience about COVID 19?
During COVID 19, we used to stay home, avoided social gatherings and masked up whenever we
had to go outdoors.
3. What are the biggest challenges connected to COVID 19? How are people dealing with the
pandemic challenges?
One of the biggest challenges connected to COVID 19 was economic crisis. People who earned
through daily labor, business were badly affected. Scholls and colleges remained closed which
affected students, keeping them away from attending classes physically. Physical interaction was
harmed. This pandemic also increased the use of social media as people were not able to go out
of their house to attend social gatherings. Likewise, the increase use of online games such as
PubG, Ludo, etc. We lived everyday with the fear of death and were very conscious. People still
are facing economic challenges caused during pandemic. People have started investing in stock
markets to overcome the economic crisis. To address the challenge in education, academic
institutions started running online classes. To make themselves busy and divert their mind,
people used to entertain themselves by cooking, gardening, spending family time.
4. COVID 19 brings positive and negative effects on the society and families. What do you feel are
the positive and negative impact of COVID 19?
Positive impact- people got more time to spend with their families. Many also
started reading books and engage themselves in different activities.
Negative impact- it inflicted people with fear of death. It also increased mental
health issues. Also, many cases of domestic violence were registered.
5. How well do you prepare for COVID 19 when you will find out that is emerged? (preparedness is
the knowledge, skill, abilities, and actions needed to prepare to respond COVID 19).
