Greetings!
It is an honor and privilege to have chosen our school as venue for this Division LAC Session
and I understand that your topics are about action research and innovation.
Given the transitional stage we are in after being confined to our respective homes for more
than a year as a result of the pandemic, these topics are incredibly timely. Numerous issues
with classroom management, student behavior, and academic performance need to be
resolved because the pandemic has caused many difficulties for the schools, particularly for
the teachers. In order to solve these problems and ensure that students receive the highquality education they need, we must be creative in our approach. We must keep in mind
that one of the Department of Education's objectives is to promote a stronger research culture
in the sector. Only after engaging in this project will we be able to make significant
contributions.
Instead of viewing action research and innovation as a source of stress, view it as a source of
opportunity. Since conducting research requires some time, let's gamble with our time. As soon
as you get started writing your paper, you ought to be able to finish it. When you want to give
up, think back to the initial motivation for your efforts. You will experience elation when you
complete a task that initially seemed impossible.
Let me end this with a quote from Helen Keller: Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement;
nothing can be done without hope and confidence. So be optimistic that you can write your
own action research and innovation.
With that, thank you very much and welcome!
