Initially, chemical potential energy stored in my muscles was converted into mechanical work
as I pulled and released the string. The stretched string possessed elastic potential energy,
which was subsequently transformed into kinetic energy upon release. This kinetic energy was
transferred to the car, causing its gravitational potential energy to convert into additional
kinetic energy as it accelerated down the inclined track. During motion friction and air
resistance, dissipated part of the system’s mechanical energy as thermal energy, reducing
overall energy transfer efficiency. When the car collided with the ball, a portion of its kinetic
energy was transferred, propelling the ball forward. Finally, as the ball struck the door, its
remaining kinetic energy was transformed into sound energy and mechanical energy, resulting
in the door’s movement.
