American Dream
My definition of the American Dream is the belief that anyone in America can achieve
what they set their minds to do irrespective of their race, color, language, origin, or any other
factor. Therefore, people can attain their own version of success if they work hard to earn them. I
agree that there is an American Dream. The reason is that people in America always work hard
toward achieving their goals. Most people are motivated by the desire to succeed, so American
schools are full of foreigners who feel that they can make it in America. Our country welcomes
people from all walks of life with the desire that there is a better life in America. I have a dream
of achieving greatness within the country. I believe that through my hard work, I will be a better
person and realize my goals in America.
Becoming an American means; working hard, following the state rules, and respecting
the rights of every individual. An American is also a great hard worker who strives to make both
ends meet through the available opportunities for exploitation. Again, an American has the
opportunity to realize their dreams through the support provided by a conducive environment.
However, the challenges that prevent Americans from living in harmony are cases like racism
that are still part of our democracy (Fogli and Veronica 12). The Americans can therefore
overcome the challenges by appreciating the roles that everyone plays within the society. We

must ensure that we respect every person in the country and shun racism at all levels. Americans
must begin to love their neighbors regardless of tribe, race, color, and gender.
Despite all these, there is a need for all Americans to understand that the dream's
realization needs everyone's effort. Each person must be part of making America a better place
for everyone. The achievement of the goals means that everyone must support antiracism and
anti-racial practices. It is not only the role of the government to create a good everyone but
everyone's responsibility. I look forward to a better America that is more peaceful and
welcoming to everyone worldwide. An American where people will not fear getting abused or
judged because of the color of their skin.
