BASIC NEEDS
of humans, plants, and
animals
BASIC NEEDS
of humans
Water- helps to transport
nutrients to different parts
or our body. It also helps
to remove waste in our
body. We need to drink at
least 8 glasses of water
every day to keep our body
hydrated.
Air- We need air to
breathe. We inhale air
called oxygen and exhale
air called carbon dioxide.
Plants are the provider of
the oxygen, the air that we
breathe.
Food- we eat foods to
grow and survive.
Clothes- Protect
us
from
the
weather.
Shelter- It is a place
where people live. It
protects the people
from danger, too
much heat of the
sun, heavy rains and
strong winds.
BASIC NEEDS
of plants
Water- Same as the
human’s plants need
water to survive and
grow. It gives the
nutrients that the plants
needed to produce fruits
and
for
their
reproduction.
Sun light- Plants need
sunlight for the process of
photosynthesis and making
food.
Soil- Just like humans’
soil serves as their home
and shelter it serves as
their foundation where
they can grow.
Air- Plants also needs air,
which is the carbon
dioxide coming from as
humans and animals.
BASIC NEEDS
of animals
Water- animals also
needs to drink water for
them to be hydrated.
Foods- They need to eat
foods to grow and
survive.
Air- Some of the animals
in land needs air to
breathe.
Shelter- Just like us
humans, they need
home to protect them
from danger.
