GOOD MORNING GRADE 3! Teacher Roan BASIC NEEDS of humans, plants, and animals BASIC NEEDS of humans Water- helps to transport nutrients to different parts or our body. It also helps to remove waste in our body. We need to drink at least 8 glasses of water every day to keep our body hydrated. Air- We need air to breathe. We inhale air called oxygen and exhale air called carbon dioxide. Plants are the provider of the oxygen, the air that we breathe. Food- we eat foods to grow and survive. Clothes- Protect us from the weather. Shelter- It is a place where people live. It protects the people from danger, too much heat of the sun, heavy rains and strong winds. BASIC NEEDS of plants Water- Same as the human’s plants need water to survive and grow. It gives the nutrients that the plants needed to produce fruits and for their reproduction. Sun light- Plants need sunlight for the process of photosynthesis and making food. Soil- Just like humans’ soil serves as their home and shelter it serves as their foundation where they can grow. Air- Plants also needs air, which is the carbon dioxide coming from as humans and animals. BASIC NEEDS of animals Water- animals also needs to drink water for them to be hydrated. Foods- They need to eat foods to grow and survive. Air- Some of the animals in land needs air to breathe. Shelter- Just like us humans, they need home to protect them from danger.
