The instruments used to give life to musical art in this fantastic place are: the rattle, the maracas, the drum and the acoustic guitar. DANCE: Galapagos also exhibits a folk dance called the Galapagos Dance or Dance of the Enchanted Islands, in which, children and young people show rhythms and colorful outfits that captivate the public’s attention. It also reflects the biodiversity of the islands through body movements. The dance steps were inspired on the behavior of the birds that inhabit the archipelago. MARIANA: The typical clothing of the Galapagos Islands is very similar to other regions of Ecuador. The typical women's dress consists of a flat skirt. When the island was discovered by the Spaniard Fray De Varlanga, there were no natives, so the clothing has been inherited from other regions of Ecuador. Motivated by the high temperature that can reach over 34° C in the Galapagos, its inhabitants usually wear light clothing. This is quite comfortable and not very tight.
