I am writing to express my enthusiastic interest in the master's program in bioengineering at the Technical University of Liberec. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Hawassa University, where I graduated with a final grade of 3.4. My professional experience as a Biomedical Engineer at Hamernassa Pharmaceuticals PLC and Yeka Health Center in Addis Ababa has equipped me with a robust skill set in medical device management, including technical specification development, device inspection, installation, and after-sales service. Notably, I have successfully engaged with health institutions and NGOs to promote high-quality medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, my thesis on a Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring Device reflects my commitment to advancing biomedical technology. I am eager to further my studies in bioengineering, focusing on innovative solutions that enhance healthcare delivery. In addition to my professional experience, I am currently employed as a Biomedical Engineer at Yeka Health Center, where I perform acceptance testing for new medical equipment, manage and maintain existing devices, and train clinical staff on proper equipment usage. My role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring that all medical devices operate efficiently and safely. I have also volunteered at Nehemiah Autism Center, where I gained valuable insights into working with children with autism, enhancing my communication and interpersonal skills. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Hawassa University, where I graduated with a final grade of 3.4. My thesis focused on a Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring Device, which aims to facilitate the early diagnosis of fetal heart conditions, demonstrating my commitment to innovation in biomedical technology. I am proficient in English and possess strong digital skills, including Microsoft Office and basic video editing, which I believe will aid in my studies and research. I am excited about the opportunity to join the Technical University of Liberec, as I am eager to collaborate with fellow students and faculty to explore cutting-edge advancements in bioengineering. I am particularly interested in areas such as medical device innovation and the application of technology to improve patient outcomes. I am confident that my background and experiences will enable me to contribute meaningfully to the program and the broader field of biomedical engineering.
