Dear Mr. Berger,
Did you know that resting your brain helps you retain current info for school? What
is the reason of learning when your brain already has fact, energy, and plenty of
education. It is a critical part of a child education when it comes to learning but some
experts think that recess can be beneficial because when students feel more engaged,
safer, and focused about school. I think Alexander middle school should have recess
most of the day because it builds up children’s excitement.
In some articles like the 2017 on Scholastic Scope titled “Do You Need Recess” says
when kids have recess it is difficult for kids to retain their learning, but they learn
better and faster when they show effort and are distributing there learning. This
means that they are focused and concentrated when doing their work and more
focused on school. Recess increases focus when kids start off fresh when they are
more entertained doing their schoolwork. This means that kids will be more focused
on schoolwork and their work.
I believe that AMS should have recess. It can create and develop social skills, and
more focus and most of human light improves wellness. In conclusion, Alexander
Middle School should have recess.
