BARDENAS SECTION- BIT II- A2 POLLUTION ( STORYLINE ) Pollution seemed so much more simple. Even though we were in the industrial revolution with smokestacks sending all sorts of things into the air and environment, we were worried about the trash thrown out of cars. Then it turns out, people started suing companies when their kids got cancer at a higher rate, or their lawn started glowing at night, or for whatever reason. Exposure to high levels of air pollution can cause a variety of adverse health outcomes. It increases the risk of respiratory infections, heart disease and lung cancer. Both short and long term exposure to air pollutants have been associated with health impacts. More severe impacts affect people who are already ill. Pollution is a big problem now. A lot of people thinks that they don`t pollute because they don`t throw trash on the floor, but this is just one little part of pollution. Pollution is any damage that we cause to the environment and nobody can live without polluting our planet.
