Papait Magic Liquid Seasoning is carefully made, committed to Philippine
cuisine and believes that peoples health should come first in the success of a
companys expansion. The flavor or food presented on the table will be greatly
improved by using Papait Magic Liquid Seasoning on a daily basis.
BACKGROUND OF THE PRODUCT
Papait Magic Liquid Seasoning is named in honor of savor Philippines, with
the brand backed with the delicious flavorful delicacies that the Philippines is
famed for, specifically papaitan. It is a unique Filipino dish that brings out a
hearty bitterness due to the use of beef bile which is a characteristic of this
zesty food. However, the consumption of this product, specifically beef bile
has health implications The team is therefore challenged to come up with an
alternative flavoring that is healthier yet as flavorful as the beef bile.
Traditionally made liquid seasonings bear additives and artificial content;
these include sugars and high fructose syrup which contributes to severe
health complications including high blood sugar level, high framed coronary
disease, raised diabetes and others. Sensing this opportunity, there is now a
fluid seasoning solution in the market today that complements Taste That
Heals with additional flavors as well as basic nutritional needs and without
health hazards. In order to solve this problem, our group introduced Papait
Magic Liquid Seasoning, a product made to replace the use of beef bile with
papait leaves. A popular traditional vegetable in Philippine dishes, the tips of
papait contain antioxidants and are often used for health improvement. This
product will also offer a nutritional value through the product with alternative
spices and condiments used to prepare the food without eliminating the
palates’ gusto for the bitter taste of papaitan.
To ensure that Papait Magic Liquid Seasoning meets the highest possible
standards in terms of quality and food safety, the following processes are
followed carefully in the processing from start and end production. The
preparation starts with the acquisition of mature papait leaves from credible
vendors in Tarlac that follow the correct procedures of planting and harvesting
the herb. The leaves go through the process of freeze-drying to retain the
flavors and nutrients then pulverized so that it could easily blend well when
incorporated on the liquid seasoning. The leaves are then ground into powdery
form then mixed with appropriate spices and other required elements; it
undergoes a cooking process where it is put in liquid solution. A vast coverage
to quality assurance measures is carried out from the pre-production to the
production level in an effort in standardizing the flavors, texture and other
qualities of the processed food. Through environmentally friendly packaging
materials, the final product undergoes the final step that enhances the
packaging to provide equal freshness in relation to the freshness of the food
stored.
Papait Magic Liquid Seasoning is healthier for many reasons than the fact that
most other seasonings contain hazardous elements such as beef bile and
artificial additives like MSG. Furthermore, the preparation and inclusion of
papait leaves add to the nutrition by providing various additional values like
better digestion, healthier living and so on. This accompaniment is not
exclusive to papaitan but can also be used in other plain soup stews,
marinades, and dips to add a pack of flavor. It makes it easy to prepare a
unique and would be a lovely addition to most dishes, making it necessary to
have in the kitchen.
Specifically, the target market of Papait Magic Liquid Seasoning is the healthconscious individuals, the homeowners with Spendthrift household, practicing
professional chefs, and the many lovers of Filipino savory Foods. It targets
clients who are looking for additional flavoring spice which is of their nature
and does not contain their unwanted content. It is the plan of this product to
adhere with tradition while employing innovation and is intended to become a
common feature of households and restaurants in the Philippines as well as
the international market. It is evident that Papait Magic Liquid Seasoning is a
product that captures the essence of Filipinos’ cooking tradition and the
contemporary improvement of it, a product that provides an innovative and
healthier version of the liquid seasonings. Food enthusiasts will appreciate that
its taste and texture are true to the feel of papaitan while debuting the ease in
having it prepared for health benefits. This product serves not only as an

VI.
BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE INVENTION
The problems that Papait Liquid Seasoning solves are various
concerning regular liquid seasonings and other flavor boosters. Most of the
existing liquid seasonings also have artificial chemicals and rather
unhealthy glycemic sugar like sugar and high fructose corn syrup, which
results in health problems like, high blood pressure, cardiovascular
diseases and diabetes in a human being. Besides, there is a lack of value
from the nutritional perspective as most conventional flavor boosters do
not assume any healthy or positive role in the diet of the consumers. In
Philippine cuisine, there is also bile, the juice of the beef’s gallbladder,
which is used to add a bitter taste to some specialties but has toxic effects.
It is about time we come up with a better version of the same taste in foods
and beverages that can have a positive influence on the health of
consumers instead of negative impacts.
In Philippine cuisine, flavor and aroma matters for it contributes a lot
to the overall taste of the dish. In the market, existing brands are known as
Knorr, Ajinomoto, Magic Sarap, UFC, Mama Sita’s and more. All of these
are known to be cherished and are being used on a daily by most Filipino
people. Having these as brand competitors in the existing market would be
a challenge for Papait Liquid Seasoning to have its own trademark and
credibility to earn people’s trust. Through advertising this product in the
public eye, it will help gain interests nationwide which will then eventually
become potential consumers that can be generated as sales and income
as time goes by.
The possible difficulty that our products may encourage along the
way is the other existing competitors in the market. In the Philippine
cuisine, various herbs and spices are being used and consumed by
potential customers on a daily basis. Herbs and spices are known to be as
flavor enhancers for all kinds of dish, either organic or inorganic spices, all
of it has one purpose and it is to add flavor and aroma to the dish. The
problem that comes with other products such as Knorr liquid seasoning,
Magic Sarap, Ajinomoto and Porksavor is its competitiveness in the
market. With that being said, existing products in the market are
considered to be trusted by many people unlike the newly developed
products that are new in the market. New innovations have either less or
more potential consumers depending on the quality and usage of the
product. If the new established innovation is able to entice many
customers, then it is possible to generate more sales and income however,
if not then the possible outcome is for the product to not be recognized as
much as the other existing brands in the market. Either way, new
innovations are always creative and helpful on its own unique way of
establishment not only for the benefit of people in society but also the state
of the country and of the economy as well.
Papait Liquid Seasoning is an improved product for use as a liquid
seasoning by providing taste enhancement while at the same time giving
the extra nutritional value of vitamins as well. The main component that
gets used in the concoction is the papait leaves and it has other elements
that help in digestion, offer anti-oxidation effects, and may also help in the
reduction of inflammation. This increases the health value of food as this
seasoning is known to provide essential nutrients when incorporated into
meals. It has a great mix that redefines its usability because it can be used
in soups, stews, marinades, and dips, among other food preparations. The
seasoning is recommended to be safe for human consumption and healthy
for regular usage. Unlike the commonly used seasonings that may have
some adverse effects on health whenever used frequently, the Papait
Liquid Seasoning is designed to bring good health impacts to users with
consistent use. Since health is a core focus, there is no compromise on the
flavor of the food enhanced by the seasoning. This is made to provide a
desirable taste to the dishes being prepared, which makes it useful in
enhancing the feel of cooking and eating and therefore an important tool
to have in the kitchen. All in all, Papait Liquid Seasoning eliminates the
issue of using artificial flavoring which is not good for the body’s health by
giving a natural and nutritious option that is in fact healthy for the body and
rich in great flavor.
