Dear Mobeen Jaffar Sahab,
I am pleased to present a comprehensive proposal for establishing a library and outlining the
various services to be offered along with their associated costs. Our proposed library aims to

(1) Manual Library Setting
1. Entry in Acquisition Register: Cost: Rs. 80,000 for all books
• Standardized format for recording acquisitions.

3. Cataloguing of Books: Cost: [Rs. 80,000]
• Detailed cataloging of each book in the collection.
• Metadata creation including title, author, publication details, and keywords.
• Online catalog access for users to search and browse the collection.
4. Issue Return Register: Register Price- Rs. 6000]
• Creation of an issue and return register for tracking borrowed items.
• Staff training on circulation procedures and register maintenance.
5. Spine Labels: Labour Cost: [Rs. 80,000]
• Printing and application of spine labels on books.
• Uniform labeling format for consistency and ease of identification.
• Quality adhesive labels for durability.
6. Entry of Each Book in Excel Sheet Initially: Cost: [Rs.120,000]
• Data entry of each book into an Excel spreadsheet.
• Recording essential information such as accession number, title, author, and genre.
• Excel sheet setup for easy updates and maintenance.

2. Server Cost (Annual Basis): Cost: Rs. 450,00 to be paid to server provider like Nayatel
• Procurement of a robust server infrastructure to host the digital library platform.
• Annual maintenance, upgrades, and security measures for the server.
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
3. eBooks Acquisition 2 lac ebooks with estimated Cost: Rs. 1,000,000 (10 lac)
Total Estimated Cost for Digital Library Implementation: Rs. 1600,000 rest is to be paid to
hosting server on annual basis.
