Dear Bruker Customer:
Bruker’s S1 series handheld XRF analyzers are equipped with stable hardware. To ensure
proper function, the operator is encouraged to periodically verify that the analyzer is
consistent and working properly. A check sample and elemental composition report, provided
with the purchase of the S1 analyzer, may be used to confirm that the analyzer is functioning
as it did when originally certified at the factory. If check sample results are within the
acceptance limits defined in the check sample report, re-calibration of the instrument is not
needed.
Because the performance of the analyzer may be impacted if the analyzer is damaged, any
factory calibration must be performed by an authorized repair facility or the factory. If the
analyzer is damaged, it should be returned for repair.
