CLASSIFYING CLIMATE SLIDE PRESENTATION
On Figure 6 of your book, you will see the major climate regions of Earth and their smaller
subdivisions. Your group will research and present one of the climate regions and their
subdivisions. Describe the region based on the average temperature, average annual
precipitation and vegetation found. Give at least one example of a city found in each subdivision
from the east and west side of the Atlantic (that means one from N - S America and one from
Europe - Asia region. Do not forget Anaheim if it falls in your region). Limit your presentation to 3
minutes. Topic assignment and the rubric are below for your preparation.

between different climate regions. Each slide builds upon the previous one seamlessly. The
fonts are easy to read.
 Clarity of Language and Explanation - Language is clear and concise, and explanations are easy
to understand, even for complex concepts.

 Use of Visuals - Visuals (images, graphs, maps, etc.) are highly engaging, relevant, and
effectively enhance understanding of the content.
