Checklist for Orifice Metering System Points to check before installation of Orifice Meter after periodic maintenace Meter Serial No: Make & Model: Sr. No 1 1.1 1.2 1.3 Checkpoint Orifice plate ,profiler and meter tube visually /physically inspected for Any physical damage Cleanliness Other parameters as applicable like Edge Sharpness,Flatness, Bevelling, Smoothness etc of orifice plate. 2 Orifice Plate is installed keeping in mind the flow direction with proper gaskets installed so that it does not protrude into pipe bore. 3 Calibrated span of Diff pressure Transmitter, temperature input and Pressure transmitter reviewed viz a viz operating conditions. 4 5 6 7 8 Leak Test has been completed. Flow computer data updation done as per Orifice and Meter tube Inspection/Calibration certificate. Joint record with customer/supplier for Orifice Plate dia, Meter tube dia and other parameters data updation in flow computer has been maintained. Flow validation including compressibility factor verification using standard software carried out. Meter is sealed at appropriate places so that no tempering can be done. Seal numbers has been maintained in Seal Register. 9 Meter is taken in Parallal /Series with other metering stream as applicable and verified for flow measurement. 10 Flow computer configuration for various other parameters like alarm setpoints, keypad values etc. reviewed. 11 Finally Flow computer configuration parameters backup has been taken and record has been maintained. Observation Calibration Certificate No: Meter Seals Number before undertaking the maintenance activity to be verified with Seal register. Necessary action to be initiated in case of any Remark: discripancy. Seal Nos before and after Maintenance shall be recorded in Seal Register.
