In the next group of problems you will be shown drawings with dimensions for the stub-up length, the radius, the
trade size of the conduit, and the number of shots to be used.
An example is shown below. Be sure to show your work for all of the calculations on a separate sheet of paper.
Step 1.
D1 = Stub – (Radius + ½ OD)
= 56 – (32 + (.5 × 3.5)
= 56 – 33.75
= 22.25 or 22 ¼"
Step 2.
DL = Radius × 1.57
= 32 × 1.57
= 50.24 or 50 ¼"
Step 3.
