Lea el siguiente texto, preste atención a la explicación del análisis de las oraciones.
Sport and physical education is fundamental to the early development of children and
youth and the skills learner during play. Physical education and sport contribute to the
holistic development of young people. Through participation in sport and physical
education, young people learn about the importance of key values such as honesty,
teamwork, fair play, rest and adherence to rules.
Physical education and sport also build health activity habits that encourage life-long
participation in physical activity. This extends the impact of physical education beyond
the schoolyard and highlights the potential impact of physical education on public
health. To achieve broader goals in education and development, sports programs must
focus on the development of the individual and not only on the development of
technical sports skills. While the physical benefits of participation in sport are well
known and supported by large volumes of empirical evidence, sport and physical
activity can also have positive benefits on education.

TRADUCCIÓN:
Mientras los beneficios físicos de la participación en deporte son bien conocidos y
apoyados por grandes volúmenes de evidencia empírica, el deporte y la actividad física
pueden también tener beneficios positivos en educación.
COMENTARIOS:
1.- Como pueden observar, cada oración tiene características diferentes y está estructurada
por Sintagma Nominal (SN) y Sintagma verbal (SV), a su vez cada uno tiene una palabra que
representa su núcleo (N)
2.- Observe cómo está conformado cada SN. En la oración uno hay dos palabras en el SN,
donde una de ellas es el núcleo. En la segunda tiene simplemente hay una palabra, que a su
vez es el núcleo, observe qué tipo de palabra es.
3.- En la oración 3 hablamos de las cláusulas que contiene la oración: Dependiente e
Independiente.
Observe la “coma” (,) que separa el contenido de la oración, al leer la primera parte no se
encuentra sentido completo, por lo que se convierte en dependiente del contenido dela
segunda que será independiente, pues ésta si tiene sentido completo. Luego hay dos verbos,
uno en cada parte pero el principal será el que se encuentra en la parte independiente. Por
ello al segmentar la oración el verbo principal será el de la independiente.
