Answer:
Difference between a speech to an outside audience and presenting a topic in classroom:






When we talk with outside audience so we need a lot of confidence to speak in public while
when we present something in the classroom then we know that these are your class fellows
so we don’t feel much hesitation and you speak easily.
While presenting in classroom if we do a mistake then its not matter much but in public
speaking we should be careful and use good words and don’t do any mistake while speaking
otherwise it will effect your speech.
When we give a presentation in classroom so we present
a topic and we give detail about that topic but in public we can talk about anything there is no
limit of topic or anything.
While presenting a topic in classroom if we get confuse or use informal face gestures then it
will be okay, not a big issue while in public we should use good face expressions that should
impress the public.
When we give presentation in classroom then we almost focus on the marks but in public we
just focus on our speech from which public get impressed.
When we give presentation in classroom or talk in public so we use verbal and nonverbal
language.

Identify the major similarities and differences between public speaking and everyday
conversation?
Answer:
Similarities:
The major similarities between daily conversation and public speaking is your way of talking. We can
talk informally . We can crack a joke to seek attention of the people. We use same face gestures. We
use verbal and nonverbal language in both public speaking and daily conversation.
Differences:
The differences between daily conversation and public speaking is that we use formal language .
Conversation with the public is brief . In our daily conversation we can speak. In public speaking we
should be careful that we don’t use such words that hurts the public. In daily conversation we talk
easily like just go with the flow But in public speaking we make some key points according to which
we can talk with the public. In everyday conversation we talk about everything with anyone we don’t
make any key points or anything else.
Conclusion:
Well if I use to talk with public or in my daily conversation so I use the word “yawr” all the time. My
face expressions are normal in daily conversation but I’m afraid that if i talk with public I will get
confuse. So we don’t get confuse, we use both verbal and nonverbal communication. And from my
point of view there is not much difficulty if you had prepare your topic so you can speak easily and
confidently . If we crack some joke so it will be more effective and seeks everyone attention.
