How to order a catalogue in Chart Assistant.
1. Exit navisailor and wait for approximately 30 sec
2. Start Chart Assistant (for advanced users if you use NS 3000)

3. Choose format SENC or TX97
4. Insert your USB stick.

5. In the Request for data filed click the Catalogue button.

6. Click finish on the screen that appears.
7. Click ok.

8. This file is now stored on your USB stick (for more information upon on How to
configure the CA for the obtaining files to be stored in USB see “How to do your
settings in CA.doc”).
9. Eject the USB stick and insert it in your communication computer.
10. Send the *.cdf file to the chartservice@transas.com
11. In a short while our server will revert to you with the latest catalogue available.
12. When the file is received store it to CA_inbox on the USB stick.
13. Eject the USB stick and insert it in the ECDIS computer.
14. Chart Assistant will automatically detect it and ask if you want to install a
catalogue. Click ok when the question is raised.
15. Synchronize with other stations if needed.
16. The latest catalogue has been installed now.
