Learning Activities Caregiving is an activity or profession of regularly looking after a child or a sick, elderly, or disabled person. This Caregiving exploratory course will develop your Knowledge, Skills, Attitude, and Values (KSAVs) in providing care to children and adults. At the end of the quarter, you will be able to: identify caregiving tools, equipment, and paraphernalia; classify equipment, tools, and paraphernalia according to types and functions; perform aftercare activities for tools, equipment, and paraphernalia; perform simple calculations; identify hazards and risks; and evaluate and control hazards and risks. Specifically, for this week, you will be able to identify caregiving tools, equipment, and paraphernalia and classify them according to their types and functions. B. Development Pagpapaunlad 2 hrs. The most important task of a caregiver is to make sure that he/she is using the right equipment, tool, or paraphernalia that is applicable to a specific job. Equipment, tools, and paraphernalia are identified according to their types, functions, and classifications. Each of them is determined based on the specified task. Therefore, you should be knowledgeable in using the different tools and equipment used in the health care services.
