Goal – to investigate how much of the common materials at home are basic and acidic
Role – a scientist from the national research institute
Audience – students from other schools
Situation – the national research institute will be holding its 6th national science fair and exhibit. You are tasked to present an investigation about
the basicity and acidity of common materials at home.
P – you are tasked to prepare formal laboratory of the investigation with complete parts of the scientific method and to orally present your
investigation.
Standards – your formal laboratory report will be evaluated according to the following criteria: mechanics, accuracy, process, organization and
completeness. On the other hand, your presentation will be evaluated according to the following criteria: mastery, spontaneity and accuracy.
