Ecom Guide With Facebook Ads

advertisement
Everything I say is based off my own experience! Keep in mind there are millions of ways to
become successful with ecom, but there is only one way to fail and that’s by giving up.
Product Research
The very first thing you need before launching a store or ads is a product. There are a lot of
ways that you can find products to test. My favorite is to use PiPi ads and Shophunter.io
Once you’re in pipi ads select on “TT Ad Search” that’s at the top and then follow these
selections
●
●
●
●
●
Country: United States
CTA Button: Shop Now
Ecom Platform: Shopify
First Seen: (Last 30 Days) <- Follow Loosely
Last Seen: (Last 12 Hours)
The reason you want these selections is because the United States is one of biggest markets
you can easily target, obviously if you can’t target it then target one of the big 4. CTA Button
should be “Shop Now” since 95% of dropshippers use it including me. Ecom platform should be
Shopify because that’s what most dropshippers and brands use. First seen should be last 30
days and Last seen should be 12 hours. The reason you want this is because you want to see
the ads that have been running for the last 30 days, the thought behind this is no one would let
ads run for 30 days if they’re unprofitable but you can do the last 14 days or the last 7 days you
can try different days.
Before we continue I have to tell you this, a product doesn’t have to be a problem solver to be a
winner. I'm sure you have heard from all the gurus that your product must be a problem solver
that is simply NOT TRUE! I have done over 20k in 2 weeks selling a funny looking pair of jeans.
So once you apply those filters on PiPi ads scroll through and look at products and have fun
with it, some criteria you should keep in mind
●
●
●
Product $25+ with 70% Margin
Existing Content On TikTok (Shows Buz)
Product Price should cap at around $80
Once you find a product after scrolling you want to verify this product is getting sales, you can
easily do this by having ShopHunter.io and grabbing the url that PiPi ads provides for you in the
ad details and entering it on ShopHunter. ShopHunter will show you the revenue of that site in
the last 24 hours and which product has got the most sales. If the site you have searched on
ShopHunter has done at least $1K in sales that is a very good sign that the product could be a
winner.
Once you find a product that is selling well and meets criteria, build out a general store so you
can easily cycle through products and test them quickly. I won’t show you how to build a general
store because there is unlimited content on that and there's no wrong way to do it
How To Source Creatives
Sourcing creatives is very easy! Simply look your product up on TikTok and you will find videos
about your product. To download you copy the link of the videos and go to Snaptik, com and
paste the link there to download. In my experience creatives that work on TikTok work well on
Facebook so short under 30 seconds with good hooks ands a solid CTA will work well
You will want 6 creatives to test with on Facebook so make sure you choose the best ones.
Make sure they are high quality, good audio, and under 30 seconds.
There is also another way, find your competition by searching “Your Product + myshopify.com”
on google and the results will be brands promoting your product. What you do now is head on
over to Facebook Ad Library and search up the brand, now the ad library will show you the
exact creatives your competition is using. Now click on your competitors videos and let it play,
then right click it and save it. It wont let you save off the bat because facebook doesn’t want you
to rip content so before you save the video you have to add .mp4 to the end of your file name
and it will save as a video.
Warm Up
With Facebook you have to be very careful!!! Anything out of the ordinary will get you banned!
Now we must warm up your account, this is very easy! Simply create a cbo conversion
campaign at whatever budget and create a random ad set with nothing targeted very broad and
general, now for the actual ad take a picture from google of the sunset and for the text and
headline just put love and peace just put something that will easily get approved.Once you
launch that ad duplicate the ad set 40-100 times, what this does is it makes Facebook think you
have just launched all these ads with 0 rejections so you must be a good advertiser! Wait until
all your ads get approved to turn them off. Now that you are on Facebook’s good side you can
create your actual campaign.
How To Test
Testing is very simple: make 1 campaign 2 ad sets, wide open targeting ages 16-45 only on
facebook and instagram at a $10 ad set budget. Now why would we do this? Facebook Ads is
an algorithm that sorts people into categories to optimize conversions. This is an investment to
facebook so much so they have poured over 1 billion dollars into this. So going wide open will
be your best bet unless you think you can outsmart a billion dollar software. Facebook with
enough data AKA money will put your ads in front of the right people.
LET FACEBOOK DO THE WORK don’t try to guess what interest will do best.
Now once your ads are up let them run for 3 days so you can properly analyze your ads.
This is how your columns should be set

How To Read Data Like a G
Reading data is a lot easier on facebook then it is on TikTok or any other advertising platform
really. So how to read! Very simple:
●
●
●
●
High CPC = Bad Creative
Low CPC = Good Creative
High CATC = Bad Offer
Low CATC = Good Offer
High CPC is anything over $1 but if your CPC is over $2 cut the product. Good CPC is anything
under $1.
High CATC ($10+) means something is wrong with your offer/site, maybe your price is too high
or your copy is bad.
Low CATC ($4 or less) means your offer is good and you should have good and profitable CPP
So if your CPC’s are good and your CPM’s are also good but you have a high CATC that means
you need to work on your landing page, could be copy, price, offer or maybe your site just looks
trash.
You can go a step further by adding the percentage of your videos being played.
With that you can see where the disconnect is with your creatives and audience and you can
optimize them that way.
Alright now you know how to read data.
Once you let your ads run for 3 days you want to go and review them and see what the data is
telling you. If you got no sales in those 3 days cut the product and move on.
If you got sales, analyze the ads, see which ad got the best metrics and recognize the type of
creative is performing well for your product.
Now you want to check on your ads once a day to make sure you don’t have a $2 CPC because
if you do, cut the product and move on.
Okay once you analyze your profitable ad now we want to optimize so if you have a $6 CATC
that can be improved by working on your offer/landing page. We always want to optimize, so if
you have a 0.60 CPC that can always be better so test creatives to see if anything else can
work better.
How To Scale
Now that you know how to read data and know what to improve you can start scaling! Scaling is
very easy on Facebook, once you have your winning creatives you can simply make a cbo
campaign starting at the budget of $50 and increasing by 25%.
You could also have budgets controlled at the ad set level starting at $10 and increasing by
25% every day that it's profitable.
You can also scale horizontally if scaling vertically doesn’t work too well for you, simply just
duplicate what is working.
It’s very simple! Just duplicate and raise budgets on what's working well.
You can also start testing interest at scale, make a single campaign with 10 different interests
using your winning creatives. The interests you use would be something that relates to your
product so you can gain optimal results.
How To Avoid Bans
Getting banned on Facebook is going to happen! No matter what! There are a few ways to
minimize the amount of times you get banned though.

Here is a list of things you can do
Make sure there are no payment failures
Make sure to follow all guidelines and policies
Take every call Facebook offers you
Don’t keep customers waiting
Try your very best to get good shipping times as this could get your account shut down. Have a
nice email flow to keep customers updated on their package that works wonders. Have multiple
cards on file so there is never a failed payment, this could tarnish your relationship if you have a
lot of failed payments. Taking calls with Facebook is good! Even though their advice is garbage
most of the time you want that personal connection so you have someone to contact if you are
having issues. I highly recommend reading facebook’s policies to understand what is and what
is not allowed! Even go as far as getting certified for taking their course, this will help with
appeals.
