In many countries, governments like to spend more money on the arts. Some people agree with this.
However, others think governments should spend more on health and education.
Arts are highly appreciated in many countries by the goverments and they spend more money on it
while some people think it is wasteful to use money for it rather than on health and education.to my
view all the points are reasonable so in this essay I will discuss both views and state my own .
On the one hand, the arts play a tremendous role in the expression of the human creative mind and
imagination. Therefore they might generate less profit and benefits than education and health, arts
contribute to our nation’s distinct identity and our valuable heritage.moreover funding in these
activities enhanced the quality of people’s mental health. They is not only help them to realese stress
but also develop fully their physical well being. We can not live perfectly without arts that preserve
cultural diversity.
On the other hand, people argue that it is ineffective investing in arts because there are a number of
serious problems which need to be adressed such as education and health. Goverments should redirect
funds from art to other fields. Arts generate less economic value to society and do not improve literacy
rates. They can use more money for people’s health such as strenthening the elderly’s physical health.
In conclusion, I believe that cultural activities are of great significance and require attention and
financial support from governments. However, it is also the government’s duty to address issues in
transportation and the environment to protect citizens’ lives and maintain a healthy environment for
people to live.
