1. Prestige Business Manager
Reporting to Head of Retail Banking the Prestige Business Manager will be responsible for the entire Prestige
Portfolio, from Product Management to Relationship Management and the overall financial performance of the
business. The position of Prestige Business Manager tenable at Blantyre Branch.
Key Responsibilities
• Overall responsible for the Prestige portfolio – Product, Process, People, Marketing, Relationship Management,
Client Experience, Balance Sheet and Income Statement
• Manage and develop products range from the concept, design, sample production, testing, cost, promotion, and
support throughout the product life cycle.
• Deliver on Projects prescribed by Prestige strategy.
• To drive and facilitate profitable growth of Prestige brand and sub products.
• To ensure that all Prestige products and services are developed in line with the company’s vision, ambition and
intentions.
Technical Skills/Competencies
• Product and Process Management.
• Relationship Management.
• Risk Management.
• Selling and Customer Service skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
• A post graduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Banking Financial Services mechanisms and the entire range of products
with at least 2 years general Banking experience, (preferred but not mandatory).
• At least 3 years’ experience in Relationship Management or Marketing/Selling.
2. Retail Segment Manager
Applications are invited from knowledgeable, experienced, and skilled candidates to fill the position of Segment
Manager responsible for First, Fast and Student segments tenable at Head Office, Blantyre.
Reporting to the Team Leader- Products & Payments, the successful candidate will develop, manage and sustain
a banking product/s portfolio and grow utilization of products within segments to ensure smooth operation and
business growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Product development and management within segments.
• Ensures that the segment offer remain attractive and competitive in the market.
• Ensures that all Products and Services offered per segment are meeting adoption, penetration and revenue KPIs.
• Conduct activities such as customer surveys, analysing market data, and staying up to date.
• Data collection on product performance, analysis of data to identify trends and areas for improvement and
presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Work on segment projects and proactive drive mark-to-market to creatively structure propositions to influence
rate of penetration and utilization.

Technical Skills/Competencies
• Customer focused and strong relationship management.
• Tech-savvy and digital focused.
• Strong sales, business, marketing, and analytical acumen.
• Understanding of the Bank processes and procedures.
• Project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Management, Finance, Marketing, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a product management, segments management, or commercial business
environment.
3. Corporate Relationship Manager
(2 positions) Central Region and Northern Region
Reporting to the Regional Corporate Manager, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of corporate clients,
achieve sustainable business development through customer acquisitions and selling the bank’s products and services
to existing and prospective clients. The positions are tenable in Lilongwe and Mzuzu Branches.
Key Responsibilities
• Sourcing Deposits, growing advances.
• Growing Trade Services.
• Customer target acquisitions and Improved customer service levels.
• New Business Development.
• Credit Management.
• Alternate Channels & Transactional Banking.
• Increased customers share of wallet.
Competencies
• Relationship building and management.
• Excellent negotiation and problem skills.
• Portfolio Management and Deal Structuring.
Qualifications and Requirements
• At least 5 years’ experience in relationship management.
• At least 3 years general banking experience (preferred but not mandatory).
