Skip counting is a method of
counting numbers by adding a
number every time to the previous
number.
The example of skip counting by
2, we get 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and so
on. Hence we get the series of
even numbers here.

At the end of discussion, the students
are expected to:

The expanded form of a 3-digit number
can be expressed and written in three
different ways. Consider a three-digit
number 457.
First, the number 457 can be written in
one form as 457 = (4 × hundreds) + (5
× tens) + (7 × ones).
