Let the learners identify the pictures posted on the board. Classroom Observation B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson Detailed Lesson Plan Processing of the Outputs: 1. Ask questions if the learners are familiar with the activities in the pictures. 2. Facilitate the answers of the learners to arrive that the pictures are tests to measure the components of physical fitness. Presentation of Learning Objectives: The teacher will present the learning objective to read by the whole class to guide the learners in the learning outcomes. C. Presenting examples/instances of the lesson ACTIVITY Collaborative Learning and Understanding the Basic (CLUB): 1. The teacher will give a minute to assign tasks and roles in the group for the differentiated activities. More than one answer is not correct. Accuracy One answer is not correct. 3. While the group does their task, the teacher will remind the learners to help and focus on their assigned activity. 4. The teacher will facilitate each group to check the group’s behavior and attitude towards the other member and to ensure a learningfocused environment. The teacher will let the students pick a choice and match it in the two (2) main components of physical fitness shown in the diagram posted earlier. D. Discussing new concepts leads to the formative assessment and practicing new skills #1 ANALYSIS Presentation of the Outputs: To build up further understanding the teacher will select students to enumerate the components of health-related fitness and skill-related fitness. Socratic Method: The teacher will ask questions about the activity. Questions: a. How did you find the activity? b. What is your essential understanding of the lesson or from the activity you have done? E. Continuation of discussion of new concepts leading to formative assessment and practicing new skills #2 ABSTRACTION Learning Engagement and Active Discussion (LEAD): The teacher will provide simplified learning material as a guide for group discussion and brainstorming to check learners’ misconceptions about the lesson. The teacher will motivate learners to ask questions for clarification and deepening of the lesson. F. Let the students’ show the correct way on how to administer the physical fitness tests that will measure the different components of fitness. The next activity will help the learners recall their previous knowledge about fitness testing. 2. The teacher will allow the learners to make a synthesis of the lesson. Formative Assessment: The teacher will give a 5-item multiple choice quiz about the lesson. Assignment: 1. Remind the students to wear their appropriate attire next meeting for the administration of the physical fitness tests. 2. Remind the class to bring the needed materials and equipment.
