Table Tennis: The Complex Side of the Game
The sport emerges during the late 19th century in England, also known
as the “ping pong” to many. Table Tennis becomes a colossal racket sport that it
became an Olympic sport in 1988. Table is indeed one of the most complex and
entertaining Olympic racket sport. The three educational and informative videos open us
to the bigger world of Table Tennis. It has distinguishable characteristics to badminton
which another popular racket sport. We have learned that singles can be consider the
match which consists of a player versus player on either side of the net, but in the case
of Gao Jun’s video about tips for doubles is a match consists of two players versus two
players on either side of the net while the rules and regulations.
It is clearly shown in the demonstration of the videos of PingSkills and
Gao Jun that basic rules and regulation in playing doubles which are the following:
respective teams should cover half of their side while alternately hitting the ball over

The world of table tennis is also a sophisticated racket sport that
competitions can bring glory to everyone’s well-being and health. The game of table
tennis become an intense and competitive sports when the sport considered one of the
as Olympic sports which many players urge to win gold medals for the honor and pride
of their country. Both singles and doubles are difficult to play as the tactics and
strategies tend change and develop to complexity. Doubles has difference when it
comes to tactics and strategies when compared to singles. It takes two to win
championships in strength numbers rather than a one man game that only plays to win
championships with his strength alone. As what the from Doubles Spectacular video all
about, a team game that spectacularly showcase their team effort to win a mere match
while actively engaging their opponents with joy. An entertaining match that can inspire
people to pursue the sport of table tennis at the same time help them to have a reasons
