Project • An Efficient Computational Scheme for Hyperbolic Partial Differential Equations in Two Independent Variables: We concentrated on this study to show the application of the Method of characteristics for solving Hyperbolic Partial Differential Equations and developing a computer code compatible with the formulations. Initially, we considered the 1st and 2nd order hyperbolic PDEs for describing the solution procedures. Then we developed the necessary algebraic equations needed for obtaining numerical solutions. And finally using these algebraic equations, we developed a computer code in MATLAB for computing numerical solutions of hyperbolic PDEs.
