rights, including economic, social, housing, education etc.
Ensuring basic rights such as food, housing, education, medical aid,
psychological support etc. whose lack thereof can create conditions which may
lead to atrocity crimes.
Organizations like the IMF should provide financial aid to countries with a large
strength of refugees. Financial aid from developed nations could be negotiated
with such countries.
Take swift and effective action then and there either using arms or without arms.
(only after taking official confirmation from the vulnerable groups)
Calling upon UNHCR to provide temporary passports to assist refugees fleeing
from persecution
In these situations, private sector actors are recommended to help refugees by
providing them with employment or collaborating with other private organizations
post crisis.
Collaborative actions with neighboring countries to prevent the working of black
markets which makes economical impact on the GDPs. Refugees should be
encouraged to find jobs based on their skillset and should be assisted to grow
their skillset.
Requesting the IMF to create a fund under it - There could be an agreement
between countries to start and maintain a trust, where all countries contribute a
part of their income depending on their economic welfare over a period of time
and then this fund can be later used to cater the needs of refugees which can
include food, shelter and other personal privileges. The UN should encourage
communities to directly support refugees through private sponsorship pathways
which allows individuals, groups of individuals or organizations to nominate
specific refugees to enter and stay in their country.

The UN should assist Brokers and NGO and refugee organizations who are key
in helping refugees gain their legal status.
Education being a primary aspect should be much more focused on by the
government and the organizations taking care of these refugees.
The barriers due to the ethical and cultural differences should be worked upon by
the government ensuring peace within the various communities of the same
country. We can also ensure that these refugees feel safe in the country that they
have been moved to and also ensure that they feel safe and secure among the
people around and not feel alienated in any way. Countries are encouraged to
provide conducive environments for refugees to learn and adapt to the new
culture effectively
Providing and facilitating access to employment opportunities to help refugees
re-establish an independent, productive life and an adequate standard of living
and they can gain knowledge and help post conflict reconstruction in their home
countries.
Countries should not use refugees as a political weapon in order to get
inducements and to apply political pressure and receive political favors.
Encourage countries to view refugees as assets and not liabilities, and focus on
utilizing the skills that refugees may bring
Investing and improving early warning systems that monitor potential flashpoints
and indicators of atrocity crimes.
-
Encourage countries to open safe routes to asylums and refugee centers during
times of crisis. Countries should work towards resettlement of refugees and
administer medical assistance
-
Countries encouraged to have enough fiscal headroom to provide for refugee
relief funds
-
Encourage countries to make use of financial policies suggested by IMF, which
can benefit discriminated populations. Also recommends countries to cooperate
with the IMF and World Bank to reduce poverty and improve standards of living,
with special emphasis on reducing impoverished groups of population
