Abhishek, different people have different
superheroes. Who is your Superhero? And, why?(100
words)
My superhero belongs from the legends of
Mahabharata. Karna, son of God Sun was discarded
by his royal mother, somehow grew up in scheduled
caste, cursed by even his teacher for whom he could
have sacrificed his life, choose the path of death
throwing away the whole Kuru Kingdom just for the
sake of his friendship with Duryodhana. Even after
all the odds he emerged as the greatest archer whom
even Krishna couldn’t defeat without conspiracy. He
never bow down in front of misfortunes rather he
raised above all those odds just on his own with pure
will and intention.
Abhishek, we would love to know you. Introduce
yourself! (250 words)
I am a passionate trekker with a liking to meet
strangers and know their stories. Currently, I am in
my third year pursuing economics and finance at
Ashoka university on a full funded scholarship. I
want to work in the area of developmental
economics and entrepreneurship to make a tangible
impact in the society. I was born and brought up in
Mahuari, Bihar. Coming from one of the most
backward villages of Bihar to Ashoka without any
guidance with just a leap of faith was possible
because of the information I can access. Information
about opportunities is the
Forbes magazine noted that Dexterity is "equipping
young people with the mentality to solve 21st
century problems." Why are you applying to
DexSchool? If selected, how would you use your
DexSchool education towards nation-building? (100
