Learning
Outcomes
1. To hypothesize from various stakeholders’ perspective, the
importance of GIPS and IFRS on General Purpose Financial
Statements and Specific Financial and Analytical Reporting.
2. Students should be able to integrate the impact of GIPS and
IFRS on various Financial Statements and analyse the financial
statements with respect to the same
3. Develop basic understanding of the impact of Global
Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and International
Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on various general
purpose financial statements and special purpose financial
reporting; especially from the perspective and angle of
various stakeholders.
4. Demonstrate the influence and effect of GIPS and IFRS on
various Financial Statements and Reports and also learn how
to analyse the same from Investor’s point of view.
