In the grand scheme of things, homo sapiens seemed to be on top of the ladder, hence, there are countless existing factors why this can be proven. May it be via reinforcement of advance science or of course the common sense of having humans as the supreme living beings on earth. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t be that interesting if I just try to mirror humans from animals or machineries built with artificial intelligence, no. In this journey, I will pave my reflection through these metaphors to delve deeper into the multifaceted nature of humanity and how they collectively reveal the essence of what it means to be human. First, The Symphony of Humanity. Try to envision humans as an orchestra, much better a grand symphony, where each individual is playing different instruments to render a masterpiece composition. Our contribution, diversities, and roles create a harmonious music which give that comfortable feeling of being united and one. Humans gets that cocky-likefeeling when they achieve things through collective efforts that shape the melody of human existence. Secondly, The Mosaic of Souls. Picture humanity as a mosaic artwork, with each person representing a unique tile. Each tile has its color, shape, and texture, and when combined, they create a beautiful and intricate mosaic that reflects the diversity and unity of our species. This ultimately means imperfections is what makes humans unique and sets apart from mass produced machines. And finally, The Garden of Emotions. Our emotions can be seen as the flowers and plants in a vast, interconnected garden. Love, joy, sorrow, and anger are the various blooms that make up the human emotional landscape. Like a garden, our emotions need nurturing and care to flourish and thrive. Emotions are not just app plug-ins that are downloadable for us to install but are innate existential ingredients of what makes us true humans. The richness, diversity, and connectivity of the human experience are highlighted by these metaphorical interpretations. They emphasize the idea that what makes us human is not simply one characteristic but a complex web of qualities, feelings, encounters, and relationships that characterize our shared life.
