Subject : Insight on the Toronto Diversity Conference
In light of society's extensive consciousness of racism, diversity in the workplace is required.
With this promotion of diversity inevitably comes problems. These problems provide an
opportunity for a company to establish effective methods for tackling racism in the workplace.
As you are aware, I have recently returned from a conference held in Toronto regarding diversity
in the workplace. The conference was running from April 10th to 12th and provided a multitude
of benefits. I was able to obtain knowledge on crucial ways of promoting diversity while aiding
the problems that came with it.
The conference was conducted by many different speakers, who assisted in cultural awareness
and team bonding exercises. With this, employees were able to engage in diversity encouraging
activities that could be brought back to our companies.

I strongly encourage you to send more employees to attend the next conference as it proved to
serve many benefits. The cost of this conference was a little high at $157 per employee. Other
than this I do not have any disappointments to report at this time. I would be thrilled to hold a
meeting with our managers to go over critical information that was provided through the
conference.
