LABORATORY DO’S
AND DON’T’S
LABORATORY DO’S
1) Listen attentively to the instructions and procedures that would be given by your
subject teacher before doing an experiment.
2) Always keep your assigned stations or place clean.
3) Report any misbehavior and unfortunate circumstances to your subject teacher.
4) Proper segregation of waste materials especially chemicals should be placed in
its proper containers. When in doubt, ask your subject teachers for proper
segregation.
5) When wearing a laboratory gown, always wear the lab gown inside the
laboratory. Do not go out while wearing it. Keep it sanitize inside the laboratory.
6) Wear your prescribed laboratory attire when doing an experiment. Always
safety first.
LABORATORY DON’TS
1)Do not eat, drink, chew gum, smoke or apply cosmetics in the lab.
2)Do not work with chemicals without knowing how to properly
handle it.
3)Students are not allowed to work in Laboratory alone or without
presence of the teacher.
4)Students are not allowed to touch any equipment, chemicals or
other materials in the laboratory area until you are instructed by
your subject teacher.
