October 11, 2021 To: The Hershey Company C/o Complain Department 19 East Chocolate Avenue Hershey, PA 17033 Dear Sir/Madam, I am an avid Reese Cup consumer, and this letter is to advise you a reoccurring situation that is degrading the quality of many Reese Cup chocolates. The Reese Cup products in question vary with the type, size, and quantity in the package. I am finding this on a more frequent basis. I truly enjoy a good Reese Cup and I am sure this issue is shared with many people. To start with, herein lies the issue. What I am seeing is when I open the Reese Cup package and remove the wrapper that encompasses the chocolate the bottom center portion sticks to the wrapper. This breaks apart the rest of the Reese Cup depending on how much is left on the wrapper. Growing up I have had this happen with several different products and the frequency is becoming more and more. I can fully understand that things can and do happen that are beyond your control, however, a different method of packaging or ever so slight product change may be to prevent this from happening in the future. In conclusion, my experience with several of your products has been great. This is one of many reasons why I chose to take the time to make mention of this issue concerning your Reese Cups. My experience with Reese Cups would be greatly enhanced with such a small change. I do believe Hershey Chocolate Company will take the time to investigate this and consider improvement on such a popular item. Sincerely, Jeremiah Meyer Jeremiah Meyer 50 Airport Way West Liberty, Kentucky, 41472 606.362.6204 Aemech97@yahoo.com Enclosure: Picture of Reese Cup wrapper and bottom of Reese Cup.
