Some people say that success comes with hard work. While some people
think that success comes from luck. What is your opinion?
Some people think that hard-working is a key driver to success while others hold that success is
made from luck. I believe success is affected by both hard-working and luck.
There is no doubt that hard work is the main factor to success. Dedicated people are not easy to
give up when they have failures. They would rather learn from their mistakes and spend more
time until they reach their goals. For instance, many studious students put lots of efforts on
studying without getting expected results, instead of giving up, they decide to strive harder. After
a long time studying and trying their best to not give up, they can reach the goals, which is
considered “success” to them.
On the other hand, luck is also a driven factor of success. Some people have the “gifted” ability
when they were born such as learning languages or having wonderful imaginations. Those
“gifted” abilities can be considered as luck. Therefore, they can earn the success easier than other
people because of these. For example, some children can speak English or France fluently even
in their kindergarten time while others might have to spend a life time for it. Luck might not be
the only factor but it can be one of the main factors for people to be successful.
In conclusion, with the discussion above, dedication and fortune are the two key factors that
success comes from.
