An output isolator is incorporated to aid in testing/handling. This SSPA (Solid State Power Amplifier) is a wideband Power Amplifier operating in the Ku-Band frequency ranges. The SSPA consists of a Gallium Nitride (GaN) output stage and a Channel Amplifier-style driver assembly which are integrated into a single hermetic package. The amplifier incorporates a full time ALC loop, with 21 steps of output power control. The SSPA is available stand-alone or integrated with an Electronic Power Conditioner (EPC) on a common baseplate. STAND-ALONE SSPA The SSPA is constructed using thin film amplifier, attenuator, and control circuits. The thin film modules are enclosed in an aluminum laser-sealed hermetic housing.
