Pereira1 Fabio Pereira Business Communication Professor Catherine Boudreau September 13, 2023 I learned a lot after reading this file and if I must put in the three most important points it would probably be: 1- The skills and knowledge everyone needs to learn when you write a professional email. - Crafting clear and concise subject lines - Using a professional and friendly tone - Proofreading for spelling and grammar errors - Using proper greetings and closings - Emojis, emoticons, weird fonts, and text colors other than black come off as immature 2- For the video call, hop on at least 5 minutes early, or more if you are hosting, technical difficulties will pop up. Ensure your Zoom, Skype, or Microsoft Teams video meetings stand out, and make an impact. 3- And some additional phone etiquette tips: “Give each call your full attention. Refrain from eating, reading, opening mail, or having side conversations with office colleagues”. “When you have a client or other visitor, accept only urgent telephone calls. When using a cell phone, remember it is not good etiquette to place or receive calls during a meeting, in a restaurant, or anywhere your conversation may bother others”.
