Though there are using many advanced technologies in agriculture, the majority
of the population is starving in this present world. This essay will describe how the
rising population is responsible for this situation, followed by a discussion of what
initiative can solve this problem.
Firstly, a large number of people are adding to the population of the world day by
day. With the increment in population, more forests and agricultural lands have
to be used for habitation. As a result, the amount of growing crops in small areas
remains insufficient although the agro sector has been improved in many ways.
For example, in Bangladesh, scientists are creating different types of hybrid
embryos of rice regularly but almost 20% of its population is unable to afford their
food and it Hs become 1% more this year than in 2021 because of the increasing
rate of the race.
To overcome this circumstance, population control will be the best way to follow.
The government can encourage the young generation and provide more facilities
for small families which will motivate the nation to take one or two children in the
future. Thus the population will remain constant and new areas for living places
will not be needed. Finally, the advancement in agriculture not only can support
the countrymen but also will make money by exporting it. For instance, China has
recently controlled its overgrowing population and has become 100% self-reliant
on rice which is its main food product. Furthermore, they are selling 10% of
produced rice to other countries.
In conclusion, we can say that a higher increment in the population is the reason
for the hunger of many people. Effective minimization of the growth rate will help
to receive the benefits of advancement in agriculture.
